Healing, Mine.

*Day 5 of August prayer & fasting 2026* Beloved Child of God, indeed, God wants us to have an intimate relationship with Him through out the month.
It has been our tradition yearly to pray for ourselves and those whom God has used to bless us.

*Topic* *BELIEVE* , the power to *RECEIVE*

Text : John 14. 5-14 Beloved in Christ, here comes Jesus preparing his disciples mind ahead of time. In today's message we see Christ picturing his way to the Father. The discussion with Thomas in verse 5 marvels Jesus's revelation by get them ready before He finally depart, it wasn't easy for Him to convince them to Believe and have all that they rightly need. Also, we see Philip in the background asking questions for Him to show them the Father, He responded, for a long time I have been with you, yet you do not know.
Jn 14: 9 He says' whoever has seen me has seen the Father. This brings to mind on yesterday's topic which expressed our worries as lack of belief and confidence in ourselves. All these make us to lose focus because of our worry situations, continuing, He said, until now' you have not believed the word i have spoken to you since I have been with you. He further told them that He is in the Father, and the Father is in Him (Jn 14: 10) From the text we learnt that believing is the key, which took Him time to convince them to believe in God and in Him Jn14 : 1 because our faith lies in Believing God's word and his ability that will make us recieve. Beloved Child of God, for we to receive we must believe and be confident in ourselves too. This encounter with Thomas and Philip teaches on how to be encouraged and believes God and be confident not to yield to fear and worry when the situation arises. Those who BELIEVES will do the things He does, Jn 14: 12) in conclusion, Believing his word ingites and inspires us to strongly affirm our belief, in God through Jesus.
