Fatty acids are important in skin and haircare. In the case of Sheabutter, there is abundance of four major fatty acids. Let's go🏃🏾‍♀️🏃🏽‍♀️🏃🏾

1) Oleic acid...it penetrates the skin to seal in moisture, relieves dry skin, hair and scalp.

2) Stearic acid; Softens skin and hair, soothes dry skin and scalp.

3) Linoleic acid: I'll call this the vitamin F factor. Makes the skin supple and plump, brightens the skin, gives even skin tone, clears acne, and so... good for oily skin. Actually, it exists in the top layer of the skin already protecting the skin and hair from free radicals eg sunlight, pollution, etc.

4) Palmitic acid- keeps the skin moisturized, conditions the hair. It also 'occurs' in our skin naturally but decreases as we age. So you might want to start using Sheabutter for some of that Palmitic acid goodness😀
