Taking a break from braiding with extension might be what your hair need right now
This way you have access to your scalp and hair strands , you get to wash every now and then(2-3 weeks)
Remember healthy scalp equals healthy hair
Some scalp care are ;
Washing regularly ( chose a time that works for you)
Oiling ( at least once a week, you don't want to do too much )
Massaging frequently ( especially your edges for free blood flow)

I was making one of my customer's hair days ago, she made up her mind to carry her cross and start her natural hair journey that is taking c are of her hair . Glory 🙌
During the process of making the hair , She asked me why am I not combing her hair . I was surprised because she told me she did comb it that morning plus the hair is still damp in some places, why comb it again ?

Some of you like combing your hair so much it hurts to watch especially when you keep your afro with the ends out for days , combing every single day ,why can't you just brush the sides?
If you have a style on that will require you combing to your hair everyday , it's not a protective hairstyle.

Remember , Less combing= more length retention

I wore only my natural hair without extensions for 4 years straight - you heard that right 4 good years

A lot of people had asked me why I did what I did, It was a choice, I chose to sacrifice wearing extension for a longer and healthier year
The plan was 3 years , trust me I just fell on love with the whole thing
I had a goal in mind and I achieved my goals . Think about this, I grew my hair from 7.5 inches to 18 inches in 4 years .
