THE WORLD IS GETTING CRUELER EVERY DAY Sometimes I wonder if we are in the end time. So I groom myself to be independent, self-sufficient, brave, bold - a warrior. And so I tell myself, Deborah Msendoo Nomhwange, when you are faced with an enemy, you fight with all you got because someone like you wouldn't give up without a fight.

The pressure to "have it all now" is quietly stealing the joy, peace, and even the lives of many young people today. Sadly, young women often bear a heavy share of this burden.
My heart is broken over the tragic story of a young lady who set out in search of a legitimate opportunity, only for her life to end in the most heartbreaking way. No one deserves to have their trust betrayed or to become a victim while pursuing their dreams.
This is a reminder that not everyone who offers help has good intentions. Please be careful about who you trust, especially people you meet online. If someone genuinely wants to help you, there are many ways they can do so without asking you to travel alone or put yourself in a vulnerable situation.
To every young woman reading this:
Verify every opportunity before accepting it.
Inform your family or trusted friends before travelling anywhere.
Meet new contacts in public places, not private locations.
Never ignore your instincts when something doesn't feel right.
Let's also remember that no opportunity is worth risking your safety. Success is important, but your life is priceless.
As we mourn this painful loss, let's pray for justice, comfort for the family, and greater awareness so that no other young person falls victim to deception.
Please stay safe. Protect yourself. Your dreams are valid, and your life is worth far more than any opportunity.
