As we celebrate the International Day of the Girl Child with the theme "Girls’ Vision for the Future," We are reminded of the power girls hold to shape a healthier, brighter tomorrow.
A key part of that vision is ensuring that every girl has the opportunity to live free of the threat of cancer. Vaccinating girls against HPV is a vital step in preventing cervical cancer and safeguarding their future.
Let’s take action today—empower girls with the knowledge and tools they need to live healthy, cancer-free lives. Because when girls are protected, the future is protected.

September is Childhood Cancer Awareness Month, a time when our commitment to the children, teens, and families affected by cancer becomes even more urgent.
At Campus Cancer Awareness Initiative Nigeria - CCAIN , we understand that the battle against childhood cancer is multifaceted—it’s not just about finding cures, but also about providing comprehensive support that addresses the emotional, psychological, and social challenges faced by young patients and their families.
Here's a renewed commitment to highlighting the gaps that still exist in pediatric oncology, and advocating for policies and practices that ensure every child has access to the care and support they need.
Together, we can make sure that no child or family walks this path alone. Let’s unite our voices, share our stories, and work towards a future where childhood cancer is not just fought but defeated.
