💚💁🏽‍♀️ 𝑨𝒇𝒓𝒐𝒌𝒖𝒓𝒍 𝒘𝒂𝒔 𝒃𝒐𝒓𝒏 𝒇𝒓𝒐𝒎 𝒑𝒆𝒓𝒔𝒐𝒏𝒂𝒍 𝒆𝒙𝒑𝒆𝒓𝒊𝒆𝒏𝒄𝒆.

Slide 2 was my hair years ago during one of the hardest periods of my hair journey. I struggled with traction alopecia, missing edges, and repeated setbacks that affected my confidence deeply...and made me spiral into other hair-destructive habits in the attempt to “cover up.”

When the “cover ups” started making my traction alopecia worse, I knew I needed a different approach.

So I started researching intentionally:
🌿 scalp health
🌿 herbs
🌿 nutrition
🌿 healthier hair practices
🌿 consistency
🌿 the different causes of hair loss

And slowly, that journey became the foundation of Afrokurl Organics 🌿

Funny enough, even after recovering, I would occasionally get cornrows again and my edges would suffer 🫠 But the knowledge and products always helped me recover 💯

Over time, I realized healthy hair is rarely just about one miracle product.

And honestly? That understanding is part of why I’ll eventually be switching to locs permanently 💯😂

Looking back now, it’s emotional seeing something that started from such a difficult experience grow into something that now helps other people on their own hair journeys 💚🤗

Those small changes matter more than you think.
