Their life together was what many would call perfect—a beautiful home, two wonderful children, and a bond that seemed unshakable.

It started with the little things. Late nights at work. Unanswered calls. The subtle scent of a perfume she did not wear lingering on his shirts. At first, she brushed it off, convincing herself that she was overthinking. Chike was a hardworking man, a respected businessman in Lagos. His long hours were normal. The stress, unavoidable.
