Using the knowledge of Ifa to solve our life challenges, one Ori at a time.

For too long, our children have walked halls where the names of their forebears are absent, where the script of our language is silent and the wisdom of our African Tradition is sidelined.
But the time has come to write new stories; to build a curriculum that carries the heartbeat of our culture, so our children can see themselves, know their story, and use our ancestral wisdom for the good of society.
The National Symposium on Indigenous Knowledge and Educational Policies is not just an event it is a movement. A call to educators, traditional leaders, policymakers, and dreamers to join hands and reimagine what it means to learn as Africans.
Venue: Epe Local Government Secretariat, Lagos State.
Date: Tuesday, 4th November 2025 | 9AM
Theme: Integrating Indigenous Knowledge into Nigeria’s Educational Policies and Institutions

On the sidelines of the summit, I had an insightful conversation with Mr. Segun Dada Dada Olusegun, Special Assistant to the President on Social Media.
Beyond the official program, our discussions explored how indigenous knowledge systems can be integrated into national policy frameworks proving that behind the scenes, culture is finding its way to the center of governance.

Honored Moment!!!
With the DG of PBAT Media Tobi Matthew, receiving a Special Guest invitation to A*o Villa as a guest of the Special Assistant to the President on Social Media for a strategic roundtable on “Unveiling the Critical Role of New Media in National Development.”
As a Cultural Ambassador, this moment underscores the vital place of indigenous knowledge systems and digital storytelling in shaping Nigeria’s future. Our heritage must not just be preserved it must trend, inform policy, and drive innovation.
To progress, To unity and to National development.

Earlier today, I had the pleasure of engaging with brilliant minds in African studies at the 70th birthday celebration of Dr. Tunde ADEGBOLA a distinguished language technologist and a living archive of African knowledge systems.
His work has been a vital inspiration to many of us, including his presence on where we shared insights on Ifa, Afrofuturism and tech
It was an honour to celebrate a man whose vision continues to shape the way we think, speak, and preserve our heritage.

I am honored to accept the invitation to speak on “IFA as a Pedagogical Tool for Multimedia Education and Cultural Diplomacy” at the Nigerian Languages Data & Sci-Tech Conference next month.
We need to initiate conversations that bridge ancient indigenous wisdom with modern innovation.
In an age where data drives the world, it’s time we reclaim our indigenous intelligence systems as encoded in the sacred knowledge of Ifá to teach, inspire, and diplomatically connect cultures across borders.
IFA speaks in codes; let us decode it for the future!

In Otura Ogbe,
Ifa says;
Akọ Ifa mọ’fa lawo Akọ Ifa mọ’fa
Akọ Oogun mọ oogun lawo Akọ Oogun mọ oogun
Babalawo to ba nkọ ifa mọ ifa a maa di Babalawo
Oniṣegun to ba nkọ oogun mọ oogun a ma di ogbologbo oniṣegun.
It has always been a lifelong dream to be able to curate different IFA divination pattern across the African continent while telling compelling stories.
In my visit to ReVodution: Voodoo Education Temple in Accra, something struck my attention as to the level of Inquisitive divination done.
I have only had that level of Inquisitive divination in Akure.
The first thing after the primary Odu is to find out the timing of the events during divination.
Will this events happen in the future, present or in the past?
This further probe gives a more clearer view to the Ijebu divination system where ”Ibo” “determinant” would give a glimpse of the timing dependent on the Awo’s deductions.
This is a good start in documenting this Journey.
To Tara, Sena, Baba and everyone at Revodution Afrika that made this worthwhile I wish you all well.

Omoluabi: The Virtuous Path
The Yoruba concept of Omoluabi represents a person of good character, wisdom, and integrity. An Omoluabi is guided by honor, justice, and respect for life—qualities that completely reject the idea of harming another human being.
Those who truly embody Yoruba values understand that our spirituality is built on the principles of balance and righteousness. Human sacrifice has never been our way, and it never will be. Let the truth be known.
