Hi there! We're back from our break and noticed we have new followers so a reintroduction is necessary 😊
My name is Hosanna Oki and I am the Founder/Managing Director of Azar Organic Cosmetics. I am a multi-certified organic skincare formulator and consultant. I am also a final year Medical student in the American University of Nigeria, Yola.
I've always been passionate about clean beauty, but I decided to start this business after I had a really bad acne breakout that worsened while using the skincare products recommended to me (even the "organic" ones). It did a big number on my self confidence and I promised myself I'd find a way to help other ladies who were in that same situation.

Now that I've inserted a deep quote on the importance of rest, let me be real with you😂. Over the past couple of weeks, I've been working ridiculous hours and it's beginning to tell on my health.
I get that the life of an entrepreneur is one of long nights, hard work and lots of effort, but at the end of the day, my health is still paramount. After all, if I'm not healthy, how will I formulate the products you need?
For this reason, we're gonna take a minute to breathe, okay? The thought of being away is making me anxious honestly but it's what we need to do so that we don't burnout.
