Lessons from my postpartum hair loss experience part 1.

First I had a health challenge in 2020 and I had to cut my hair. 💇‍♀️
Then I decided to start growing my hair again after I had my son in January 2021. It wasn’t easy so I went back to the babing salon 💇‍♀️.
I don’t like stress.

Around September 2021, I decided to pay more attention to my hair. Towards the end of 2021, I was already expecting Baby number 2. 2022 March, she arrived. Then hair loss started after we were discharged from the hospital. I lost my edges, the lent was not encouraging at all.
It was giving house help with wicked madam kind of vibes.
I wanted to cut it again but hobby encouraged me to treat consistently for 1 year, if there is no improvement, then we can cut it.

Then I went into serious and intentional care for my hair.
Now back to the lessons.
Lessons number 1. Apartment from postpartum issues, I discovered lots of things that causes hair damage but I’ll talk about 1 on this post, which is the use of Hot 🥵 water 💧 on the hair.

Here are a few things hot water can do to your hair.

Overusing very hot water to wash your hair causes stress to your tresses and you’ll be left with frizzy, brittle and dry hair over time.
Also, hot water causes hair loss because the heat makes your hair weak and it tends to fall off with time.

If you must use, then make it lukewarm.

Using lukewarm water does not cause any harm to your hair.

Both warm and cold water works for washing your hair if you use them appropriately.

I had good products, but the method of washing was also a major factor.
With my products and prosper method of washing, i started to see first hand results.
