Maybe you are waiting for that big break, or just wishing for things to be different. But here’s the thing... trusting God’s timing is super important.

God has a plan for you. Just like a seed grows in its own time, everything in your life is happening when it's meant to. When things don’t happen right away, it’s not because you’re not enough. It’s because God is preparing you for something bigger and better.

Patience is key. Trust that the right doors will open at the right time. You don’t need to rush — you are right where you need to be, and the best is yet to come! However, do not stop knocking those doors, please.

So keep going, keep praying, and keep trusting God's plan for your life. 🙏

✅ Show empathy — understand and acknowledge other people's feelings. Trust grows where empathy dwells.

✅ Be patient — with yourself and others. Building trust takes time.

The first step to learning to trust in others is to trust yourself first. When you lead with care and honesty, naturally, trust follows.

You know, when life gets tough and doubt begins to creep in, that is when faith becomes your strength. This is not just about believing when things are rosy, but also trusting when the path is unsure.

My woman, faith is what will help you keep going when you feel like giving up, and it'll remind you that you are never alone.

So, no matter what it is you are facing, I want you to please hold on to your faith, because it is the power that will empower you to rise above any challenge.

Role Models or Not?

As women, we often look up to others for guidance, inspiration, and strength. But here is a thought: Are the people we call "role models" truly worthy of our admiration?

See, it is very easy to get caught up in social media highlights, fancy photos, and successful stories. But one thing we must ask ourselves is this, 'do these people represent the values and qualities that matter most to us as African women? Do they stand for integrity, hard work, and kindness? Or are we just admiring them because they seem to have it all?'

A true role model is someone who lifts others up, stays grounded, and leads with love. She is someone who is not afraid to show her flaws and teach us from her mistakes. She inspires us not just with her achievements, but also, with her character.

So, as you think about the women you look up to, ask yourself if they are showing you the real way to grow and if you so are learning to become a better version of yourself from them. Also, think about the persons looking up to you as role models... Are you living up to the name? Remember, to whom much is given, much is expected.

Let us choose role models who empower us, who reflect our culture and values, and who encourage us to be strong, confident, and compassionate women. We should also work towards been same to younger minds looking up to us, directly and indirectly.
