A man almost slapped me in the market because i went out with my baby 😭💔

I went to a local market not too far from my house to buy foodstuffs with my baby girl.

suddenly, one man saw me and started shouting at me. he asked me, “why would you bring this baby out in this hot sun, that he doesn’t know what is wrong with you women

he was so aggressiiive and angrry with me that i started begging him, saying, “i’m sorry, sir. i will soon go home.”

but after some time, i started thinking

what if i’m living alone? does that mean i cannot go to the market to buy foodstuffs or get goods for my business with my baby?

i understand that he might have been concerned about my baby but was all that aggressi0n really necessary?

guys, please tell me, am i wrong for taking my baby to the market to get food stuffs 🤔👇

Honestly, I wasn’t expecting the kind of love I received after sharing what happened to me in my shop yesterday. The comments, the prayers, the words of encouragement, the calls and the text messages meant so much to me.

15,000 naira may look like a small amount to some people but to me, it’s a huge amount of money. Today has really broken me😭💔

while i was still crying because of the guy who came to my shop and st0le my items worth 15,000 naira,the cloud suddenly changed and everywhere became dark. 😭💔

guess what happened? It was rain about to fall

you guys won’t believe that it has been raining since 12 pm till now

honestly, i’m just so sad today. na to just close and go home ooh, I can not come and kpai myself

SOMEONE STOLE FROM ME IN MY SHOP TODAY 💔😭😭

Honestly, I’m crying as I’m typing this because I never expected this kind thing to happen to me.

Today as I just opened my shop,a customer came in and said he wanted to buy a small Dodo Skin lotion so I brought it out for him. He then went to my soap section, picked up 1 Nano Extra White bar soap and asked me how much it was and I told him the price.

This man kept checking different soaps and was still asking me to bring different lotions and face creams out for him to check.

Meanwhile, I was also trying to take care of my baby as she was scattering some goods at the shop

I never suspected anything because I thought he was a customer who wanted to buy something.

Before you know it, this man said he don’t want the small one again and asked me to bring the big one. Then I brought the big one and he asked me to calculate,after I have calculated, i told him the price and this man said he wasn’t with such amount

He then asked me to put them inside nylon and keep them for him that he is coming back to pay and Collect it

I told him to pay part of the money but he refused. I even told him to do transfer or use his ATM card, but he said no that he’s coming back

Before I knew what was happening, he has rushed out of my shop already

I now looked at my soap section and discovered that two different pack of my soap worth 15k was missing 😭😭💔

And one pack of Kojic San soap (foreign )9k

Imagine a small business owner like me loosing 15k today 😭😭

From cooking, cleaning, taking care of the children, pleasing your husband and worrying about bills will make some women become so stressed that they barely have time for themselves.🤦‍♀️

Sometimes self eeh, you will even look at your old pictures from when you were single and ask yourself, “is this really me?” 😂😭
