The Nigeria Fashion Week is the first fashion week in Nigeria. Since 2002. Nigeria Fashion Week is one of the biggest fashion events in the African continent.
It brings together stakeholders in global Fashion, Beauty and Hair industries with the goal of celebrating fashion and creating a vibrant market by linking manufacturers, wholesalers, retailers and the end users. Over the years, the event has been able to reorient practitioners in the Nigerian fashion industry to be locally inspired by using locally made fabrics, accessories and designs.

EUROPEAN UNION PARTNERS NIGERIA FASHION WEEK
The EU Delegation to Nigeria and ECOWAS is partnering with Nigeria Fashion Week 2026 to promote sustainable fashion, circular production and green enterprise, while encouraging more environmentally responsible practices across Nigeria’s fashion industry.
The partnership will support the Going Green 5 Initiative, a central component of Nigeria Fashion Week 2026, under the theme “Beyond the Runway: Fashion and Culture at the Heart of the Green & Blue Economy.”
Nigeria Fashion Week is organised in collaboration with the Federal Ministry of Art, Culture, Tourism and the Creative Economy, Federal Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the National Council for Arts and Culture and the Nigerian Tourism Development Authority.
Other partners include Bizness Group, Africa Magic, Blue Seal Energy Group, Transcorp Hilton Hotel, Tetrazini, Soul Lounge Resorts, Africa CEO Club, WAP TV, Qualitrend Group, News Central, Prince Donatus, Kennis FM and PG Records

It was an amazing time at the inaugural meeting of the Local Organizing Committee of the Nigeria Fashion Week. In attendance were the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ministry of Art, Culture, Touriam and the Creative Economy, National Council for Arts and Culture, Nigerian Tourism Development Authority (the host and secretariat for the event), the media and other stakeholders
