Some of the oils we use ....
Jojoba Oil
Jojoba oil is technically a liquid wax extracted from the seeds of the jojoba plant. What makes it unique is how closely it mimics the skin’s natural sebum. Because of this, it helps balance oil production—making it suitable for both oily and dry skin types.
It is lightweight, non-comedogenic, and absorbs easily without clogging pores. Jojoba oil is rich in vitamin E and antioxidants, which help soothe irritation, support skin repair, and maintain hydration. It’s especially useful for acne-prone or sensitive skin because it calms inflammation while keeping the skin moisturized.
Squalene Oil
Squalene (often used in its more stable form, squalane) is a naturally occurring lipid found in the skin. As we age, our natural levels decrease, which can lead to dryness.
Squalene oil is extremely lightweight, fast-absorbing, and deeply hydrating without feeling greasy. It helps strengthen the skin barrier, lock in moisture, and improve skin elasticity. It also has antioxidant properties that protect the skin from environmental damage.
Because of its gentle nature, it works well for all skin types, including sensitive and acne-prone skin. It gives the skin a soft, smooth, and plump appearance.
Argan Oil
Argan oil, often called “liquid gold,” is extracted from the kernels of the argan tree. It is rich in essential fatty acids, vitamin E, and antioxidants.
This oil is deeply nourishing and helps restore the skin’s elasticity and softness. It is particularly beneficial for dry, mature, or damaged skin because it improves hydration and supports skin repair.
Argan oil also has anti-inflammatory properties, making it helpful for calming redness and irritation. Despite being rich, it absorbs well and doesn’t feel overly heavy on the skin.
Rosehip Oil
Rosehip oil is derived from the seeds of wild rose bushes and is highly valued for its skin-renewing properties. It contains vitamins A (natural retinoids) and C, along with essential fatty acids.
This oil is excellent for brightening the skin, fading dark spots, and improving overall skin tone. It supports collagen production, making it beneficial for reducing fine lines and improving skin texture.
Rosehip oil is also known for helping with scars, stretch marks, and hyperpigmentation. It absorbs fairly quickly and works best in formulations aimed at skin repair and rejuvenation.
