❤️ Crowning is a sign that your baby is very close to being born.
Here's what's happening to your body during this stage.
Crowning occurs during the second stage of labor, when the baby's head becomes visible at the va**nal opening and remains visible between contractions.
This means the baby is almost ready to be born.
As the baby's head gently stretches the vagïnal opening and surrounding tissues, many women feel an intense burning or stinging sensation, often called the "ring of fire."
While this can be uncomfortable, it is a normal part of many va**nal births.
At this stage, your healthcare provider or midwife may encourage you to push slowly or pause briefly between pushes.
This allows the tissues to stretch gradually, which may help reduce the risk of severe períneal teàrs.
After the baby's head is born, the shoulders and the rest of the body usually follow with one or two more pushes.
Every labor is unique. Crowning may last only a few minutes for some people, while it can take longer for others.
Your healthcare team will guide you through each step to help keep you and your baby safe.
💙 Understanding the birth process can make labor feel less frightening and help you feel more prepared.

🌸 Did you know the v@gina is self-cleaning? Natural fluids help keep it healthy and balanced—no internal washing needed.
💧 That clear or whitish discharge isn't always a problem. In many cases, it's your body's natural way of cleaning and protecting the va**na. These secretions help remove dead cells, support healthy bacteria, and maintain the vagína's natural pH.
🚫 Douching or using scented products inside the va**na can disrupt this natural balance, increasing the risk of irritation and infection.
⚠️ While normal discharge is usually clear or milky white with little or no odor, see a healthcare professional if your discharge becomes green, gray, or yellow, has a strong foul odor, or is accompanied by itching, burning, pelvic pain, or sores.
🌺 Your body already has a natural cleaning system—understanding it is an important step toward better reproductive health.
