Beauty in the Motherland was such a beautiful experience🤍
There’s something special about being in a room filled with people who love beauty as much as you do. Meeting different beauty founders, discovering brands I hadn’t come across before, reconnecting with people I already knew, and connecting with new people who are building, creating and making waves in the industry.
I had some really insightful conversations, received so much advice from people who have walked different parts of this journey, tried out new products and even got to do live demos with some amazing brands.
But beyond the products and the event itself, I really enjoyed the opportunity to share space with people who are passionate about the same things I am. It reminded me just how much is happening within the Nigerian and African beauty industry and how much there is still to learn, explore and build.

The intentionality, creativity and level of quality being produced locally is something to be proud of. It was beautiful to experience so many of these brands up close.
I’m leaving with new connections, ideas, new products to explore and an even deeper appreciation for the beauty industry I’m building my own little corner in.
