🥭 Can You Really Make Soap From Pawpaw?

Absolutely! And it's one of my favorite beginner-friendly DIY projects.

If you're new to soap making, don't worry. This recipe uses a melt-and-pour soap base, so it's simple to follow.

Ingredients
500g transparent melt-and-pour soap base

2 tablespoons strained pawpaw puree

10–15 drops fragrance oil (optional)

Silicone soap mold

Method
✅ Peel and remove the seeds from one ripe pawpaw.

✅ Blend the flesh until smooth.

✅ Strain to remove any lumps.

✅ Cut your soap base into cubes and melt gently.

✅ Add a small amount of pawpaw puree and stir well.

✅ Add fragrance oil if desired.

✅ Pour into silicone molds.

✅ Leave to cool completely before removing.

💡 Beginner Tip: Fresh fruit contains water, so use only a small amount in melt-and-pour soap to help maintain a good texture. Make small batches and store them in a cool, dry place.
