Your tallow has a postcode 📍
Baambrugge, 1396 JC — 20 minutes from Amsterdam, four generations deep, 75 hectares of herb-rich grassland, zero pesticides, zero artificial fertiliser, and a farmer who built trees into his barn because a cow in a field always rests under a tree.
This is where Fat of the Land comes from. I thought you should know :)

Topical skincare primarily affects the epidermis
Procedural and device-based treatments can reach the dermis
No external treatment bypasses biology
Symptoms reflect adaptation. Treatments can modify tissue, but they do not resolve the underlying biological drivers
When we understand this, we stop asking products to do jobs they were never designed to do.

In ancient bathing cultures, Greek athletes used strigils to scrape oil and dirt from the skin. In Middle Eastern hammams, the skin was warmed first, scrubbed with rough cloths, and rinsed before being anointed with oil. In Nordic and indigenous sweat traditions, heat and steam softened the body before rubbing, washing, and sealing the skin with fat or oil.
Brushing the skin before bathing gently exfoliates and stimulates the surface. It clears buildup and prepares the outer layer so that water can cleanse effectively, without stripping more than necessary. After bathing, when the skin is warm and slightly damp, oil or fat is applied to restore and seal the skin barrier.
