What if your laser treatment was doing more than improving pigmentation?
One of our favourite studies on BroadBand Light looked beyond what we can see clinically and examined what was happening at the level of gene expression.
After a series of three BBL treatments, researchers found that 1,293 age-associated transcripts shifted toward patterns more closely resembling younger skin.
The findings suggest that BBL may influence skin aging beyond the visible improvements we associate with light-based treatments with measurable changes occurring at a molecular level.
This is the philosophy behind much of what we do at Face & Body Boutique: rather than chasing individual signs of aging, we focus on maintaining skin quality over time.
