Wist je dat de universiteit donderdag dicht is, maar dat dat de Borrel nooit tegenhoudt. Daarom kom lekker morgen Borrelen op de woensdag.

For your information, this week's Borrel will be on Wednesday (so that is today!) instead of on Thursday! This is due to the fact that Het Walhalla celebrates the end of their lustrum week with a final party on Thursday. They have given us the space we needed for our party last November so we are happy to give them the space this week, make sure to check out their party tomorrow.

Auction: Bar stools from de ‘Salon’

As you might have noticed at the end of last year the Borrel bought a whole new set of fancy bar stools. We have, however, never thrown away the old ones. These will now be put up for auction. All you have to do is go to this link: https://borrelreunie.nl/Barkrukken/home and enter your bid with your name and email. Do you fancy a nice bar stool that has been used in the latest three Physics buildings of the TU/e? Go and place a bid from this wednesday (20-02) at 12:00 within two weeks (till sunday 10-03 12:00).

Today the last Borrel before the Borrel’s 40th birthday will be celebrated in style with an extended Caesarian Borrel from 16:00 till midnight (00:00 AM). This way we will end our 8th Lustrumweek with an 8-hour Borrel. There will be a possibility for you to get something to eat in the form of affordable fries and snacks for €5,50 in front of Flux between 19:00 and 20:00 so that you can stay with us for the whole 8 hours. We will strive to have a new “Beer of the Hour” every hour, including the beers brewed by the Brewers’ Guild of Van der Waals especially for the Borrellustrum.

Come and celebrate our 40 years of existence with us in style at our 8 hour long party in the best pub of Eindhoven: our own ‘Salon’!
