International Conference on e-Health and Telehealth - Icehat

e-health and telemedicine is not an unknown branch of health care in today's time but is an issue which needs more understanding, implementation and amplification.
There are people who have proper access to health care and there are people who either do not have access or choose not to have access to health care due to their other priorities.

e-health can help the people with access to health care by providing them easy and fast access to health care. On the other hand e-health can help the people without access to health care due to various reasons by providing them health care at grass root level in a cost that they can afford.
Although the concept of e-health was put forward by the developed countries, e-health seems to be much more necessary in developing countries like nepal with geographical as well as political barriers which has greater impact over the deprived and unreached community.

DISHARC http://www.disharc.org/ with the concept of reaching the unreached has been providing telemedicine services since 2009 in various regions of nepal through its sister organization C.H.E.S.T. DISHARC has also been awarded by Pierre Fabre Foundation for its work on e-health,

In order to better understand, implement, and amplify e-health throughout the world. DISHARC in collaboration with organisations like 1. Foundation Pierre Fabre, Lavaur, France 2. Strategic Partnership for Nepal (STAPAL) Zurich, Switzerland 3. PASHA, California  4. Nepal Health Research Council (NHRC),  Sukrapath, Kathmandu, Nepal.5. Nepal Cancer Hospital,  Harisiddhi, Lalitpur, Nepal6. Subisu Pvt. Ltd. ,  Baluwatar, Kathmandu, Nepal is organizing the first conference on e-health and telemedicine november 1st to 3rd 2018.
