- NANO - 1st session we wanted to nail the shape and get the core strokes looking fly. She wasn’t sure how “dense” she wanted her brows. So next session if we need to add more strokes we will.

So, you’ve decided to get your brows tattooed or your lips blushed.

You Google “best brow tattoo near me” or “cosmetic tattoo Canterbury.”

Google serves up the first few businesses. Some have only a handful of reviews. Others have outdated websites or social pages that are hard to navigate.

You keep scrolling… and 💥 BOOM.

Another 50 artists appear.

Some have hundreds of photos.
Some have hardly any.
Some have reviews.
Some don’t.

Suddenly you’re overwhelmed… so you close the tab and tell yourself you’ll look later.

(We all know that tab never gets opened again. 😂)

I’ve been there too, looking for an electrician, a builder, a hairdresser, or a beautician. We all want to know we’re spending our money wisely and choosing someone we can trust.

Permanent makeup should be no different.

This isn’t the time to ask:
❌ Who’s the cheapest?
❌ Who can fit me in tomorrow?

Instead, ask yourself:

✔️ Do they have genuine reviews?
✔️ Do they regularly share healed results not just fresh tattoos?
✔️ Are they consistently posting their work?
✔️ Has someone you trust been to them? Would they recommend them?
✔️ How long have they been specialising in cosmetic tattooing?
✔️ Do they continue to invest in education and advanced training?
✔️ If they’re booked ahead, that’s often a good sign. The best artists are usually in demand.
✔️ How do they communicate? Are they professional, knowledgeable and approachable?
✔️ Do their socials resonate with you? Do they feel like someone you’d genuinely trust with your face?

At the end of the day, cosmetic tattooing is still a tattoo. The pigment may soften over time, but your artist’s skill, judgement and experience will have a lasting impact on your results.

Choose the person. not just the price.
