Embracing individuality is about acceptance.

Accepting not only our favourite parts of ourselves, but also our least favourite parts - and knowing that they equally make us who we are.

Grey blending doesn’t always mean colouring the grey.

Here, we left her natural grey completely alone and worked only on the old colour through the mids and ends — toning out the warmth and softening the contrast so everything started making sense together.

No root colour. No unnecessary coverage. No fighting what her hair naturally wants to do.

Sometimes the smartest colour decision is knowing where not to colour.

Lived-in colour, but make it actually lived in.

No stripes. No awkward grow-out. No blonde for the sake of being blonder.

Just colour placed exactly where it needs to be — bright where it counts, depth where it matters, and bloody good hair from every angle.

Coloured with Davines NZ — because what we use matters just as much as what we do with it.

Tiny haircut. Big opinions.

A good pixie isn’t just “short hair” — the shape has to work from every angle, sit properly around the ears and neckline, and still look bloody good when you haven’t spent 20 minutes fighting with it.

Sharp, soft and very cool.

Brunette, but with somewhere to go.

Fine ribbons of light through the lengths, a little brightness around the face and enough depth left behind to keep the whole thing rich.

Because going lighter doesn’t have to mean becoming blonde.

Beautiful brunette colour is all about where you put the light.

Proof that a few centimetres of hair can have an unreasonable amount of personality.

Micro fringe. Beautiful little crop. Nothing hiding behind a tonne of hair.

Short hair is where the haircut has to do the work — proportion, texture, weight and those tiny details that make it feel like you, rather than just “a short haircut.”

We bloody love cutting hair.

changes 🌱

Moving Gilt gave us the chance to look at more than just our space.

Who we work with. What we use. Where our waste goes. And whether the choices behind the business actually match what we believe in.

Small changes add up.
