Has vehicle security been running around in your mind? Well, Pat’s here to help you stay one step ahead!
Did you know that simply locking your doors and winding up the windows can reduce opportunistic vehicle theft and break-ins by up to 99%? Most offenders aren’t professional safe-crackers; they’re opportunistic grab-and-dash operators testing door handles. If the door doesn't give, they usually move right along.
Here's Pat’s quick rundown, and keep these quick rules top of mind:
- Lock it every time: Even on your own driveway, popping into the dairy, or paying for fuel.
- Out of sight, out of mind: Bags, tools, sunnies, and loose change left on the seat are open invitations.
- Park with purpose: Stick to well-lit spots, main thoroughfares, or areas covered by CCTV whenever you can.

In case you didn't know, our Director and General Manager, Andrea was asked to be on the judging panel for the prestigious 2degrees Auckland Business Awards!
Swipe through for a few snaps from the South & East regional awards night.
Being selected as an official judge, specifically evaluating the Excellence in Business Strategy category, is a major nod to the calibre of leadership Andrea brings to the table. Reviewing high-level entries and assessing how businesses build resilience, scale sustainably, and execute long-term vision requires serious commercial insight. Having her chosen to help set the benchmark for regional enterprise speaks volumes about her strategic expertise.
It’s always great seeing our leadership active out in the business community, contributing knowledge and supporting other Kiwi businesses as they grow.
Shout-out to Andrea for representing the pack at the judging table and setting the bar high!
The incident report is only one part of the story!
