Another super soft grey blend for the lovely Donna 🤍

Instead of foiling her entire head, we worked with her natural greys, focusing on the “pepper” areas while leaving the brighter “salt” sections untouched. This creates a softer, more even, naturally brighter result with less maintenance.

Grey blending is perfect if you’re not ready for full grey coverage but still want a beautiful, seamless colour that grows out gracefully.

Grey blending ✨

Grey blending is all about working with your greys, rather than completely covering them. The goal isn’t to hide them or go back to your natural colour—it’s to create a soft, seamless blend that grows out beautifully.

For the past two years, we’ve refreshed this look about twice a year using a full head of foilayage. We finish with a root shadow to maintain depth, using a demi-permanent colour so we soften the greys instead of fully covering them.

Unfortunately, I don’t have a before photo, but we started with a very dark tint. It took a few appointments to break through the old colour and achieve this cool, ashy result—and it’s been worth the journey!
