My Endometriosis Journey started when I was 15. My school attendance was falling very low,
and my pain was getting in the way of me doing the things I loved. I was a very active, social,
and bubbly kid; I loved the outdoors and playing hockey and hanging out with my friends. After
getting my period, the pain I was experiencing became a barrier in my life, and I was unable to
fully commit to the things I loved the most.
I was being evacuated off tramps, sitting out during hockey games, and avoiding going to
friends’ places. I had one surgery when I was 16 to cut out and diagnose endometriosis, as well
as a string of smaller surgeries to help manage the pain. These worked for a short period of
time, then the pain would creep back up on me. Eventually, I went back to my specialist and
asked what we could do next. His answer was simply: “Panadol”
I remember thinking, surely this can’t be it. After years of pain, surgeries, diets, and trying to find
a way to cope with everyday life, I couldn’t believe there were no paths left. I was sick of being
in pain all the time, and I was about to leave on a university exchange overseas. I didn’t want to
spend the next 6 months wondering whether my pain would stop me from experiencing the joys
of the world to the fullest.
We managed to squeeze in 3 massages before I went (even getting one the day I was about to
hop on an 18-hour flight across the globe). In the beginning, I didn’t know what to expect, but
these massages changed my life. For the first time in years, I managed to spend 5 months in
the UK and 1 month traveling around Europe without having to think about my pain. I would say
it cleared about 90% of my pain. I was able to say yes to things without thinking about what time
of the month it would be or making sure I had an escape plan. I was simply able to enjoy being
20.
Endometriosis had made me feel like my life had to revolve around my pain. Now, I feel like I
can live life how I want to. I will continue to use massages as part of managing my pain and,
more importantly, being able to say yes to all the things I love.

🌸💕Another beautiful reason I love what I do… 🌸💕
My heart is so full. 💕🌸
This week I received this incredible message from a client who came to see me for just two fertility massages… and has now received her positive pregnancy test. 🌸
Every fertility journey is different, and there are many factors involved in achieving a pregnancy. I never claim that massage alone creates this outcome. But I do believe in giving the body the best possible environment to thrive by improving circulation, reducing tension, supporting pelvic health, and calming the nervous system.
Being trusted to walk alongside women during one of the most emotional journeys of their lives is something I never take for granted.
Messages like this remind me why I started Bloom all those years ago. 🌸
To my beautiful client—thank you for allowing me to be part of your journey. Wishing you the healthiest, happiest pregnancy ahead. 🌸💕
If you’re on your own fertility journey and are looking for natural, supportive care to complement your medical team or your conception plans, I’d love to support you too.
🌸 There is always hope.

🎙️ I’m excited to share that I was recently a guest on the Perimenopause Health Podcast with the wonderful Anastasia Bennett!
It was such a privilege to sit down with Anastasia, a Registered Clinical Nutritionist and passionate women’s health educator, to talk about a topic that I believe deserves far more attention…
✨ The missing piece in perimenopause: pelvic health.
We explored how the health of your pelvis, abdomen and surrounding tissues can have a profound impact on how you feel during perimenopause. We discussed:
🌸 Why pelvic health is often overlooked
🌸 The effects of scar tissue from C-sections, hysterectomies and endometriosis surgery
🌸 How specialised abdominal massage may support comfort, mobility and wellbeing
🌸 Why taking a whole-body approach to women’s health matters
As someone who has lived through endometriosis, fertility struggles and now perimenopause, this conversation is incredibly close to my heart. My hope is that it gives women another avenue to explore and reminds them that they don’t have to simply “put up with” feeling unwell.
A huge thank you to Anastasia for creating such an informative and supportive space for women and for inviting me to share my passion.

✨ One of the greatest compliments I can receive… ✨
This week, I’ve welcomed back several beautiful women who first came to me for fertility massage when they were trying to conceive their first baby.
Now they’re back… hoping for baby number two or three. 💕
It always makes me smile because so many women tell me, “I just want to do what worked the first time.”
While every fertility journey is unique and no treatment can guarantee pregnancy, there’s something incredibly reassuring about returning to the care and routine that helped you feel your best the first time around.
Fertility massage is about creating the healthiest, most relaxed environment possible for your body—supporting circulation, reducing tension, improving pelvic mobility, and encouraging your body to function as optimally as it can.
Being trusted again for such an important chapter in a family’s story is something I never take for granted.
To every woman who has returned with hope for another little one… thank you for trusting me with your journey once again. It truly is an honour. 🌸
If you’re beginning your fertility journey or thinking about growing your family again, I’d love to support you.

I believe this is what I experienced today! It really is a thing! Can you relate?
Just know that we should not consider this pain as normal and live with it and there is something that may be an option to help you or someone you know who suffers with the excruciating pain that is endometriosis.
I would love to help you if you experience an endo flare. 🌸💕

Today was a reminder I never expected to have.
For the first time in nearly 22 years, I experienced the kind of period pain that stopped me in my tracks. The pain was so intense I was vomiting, needed pain relief, and had to sleep for a couple of hours before I could continue with my day.
It took me right back to a place I know far too well.
And it reminded me exactly why I do what I do.
So many women are told that agonising period pain is “just part of being a woman.” It isn’t. Pain that leaves you curled up, vomiting, missing work, cancelling plans, or unable to function should never be dismissed as normal.
Whether it’s endometriosis, adenomyosis, pelvic congestion, scar tissue, or another pelvic health issue, your body is telling you something deserves attention.
I know firsthand how debilitating this pain can be, and that’s why I’m so passionate about giving women options, hope, and support. While there’s rarely a quick fix, there are ways to help your body function more optimally and, for many women, reduce the severity of symptoms.
Today’s experience has only strengthened my purpose.
If you’re silently battling period pain every month, please know this: you don’t have to just “put up with it.” You deserve to be heard, supported, and to know that there may be another path forward. 🌸💕
