Abigail McEwan is an Auckland; New Zealand based makeup artist and stylist with 10 years of experience in the fashion and beauty industry. Please await confirmation of your booking via email. Your booking will not be secure until a deposit has been made. By paying the deposit you agree to all terms and conditions outlined below. ADDITIONAL CHARGES:
Persons booked for and do not show up will be charged for. When parking at a hotel, our valet parking will be charged to your room (due to having so much equipment). The same applies to Apartment parking in the CBD, and for any assistants that I bring with me. TRAVEL COSTS:
Additional small travel costs apply for areas within Auckland, I am located in central Auckland. Waiheke incurs a travel fee per artist. This includes the return ticket, parking and travel time on the ferry for 1 and a half hours. Transport once over there will need to be arranged to and from the ferry terminal. If not, a pre paid taxi will need to be organized for us to be picked up and dropped off at the ferry terminal. All costs will be quoted to you accurately upon booking. DEPOSITS:
Once confirmation, a 30% fee is required for weddings and general bookings and the balance is then due a week before via direct deposit or cash on day. Once a deposit has been received your booking is then secure. You will receive an email confirmation of your booking. REFUNDS::
We do not offer refunds for any completed services or trials; therefore if you are in any way dissatisfied, it is up to you to discuss this with Abigail on the trial day. All discussions regarding refunds/discounts will be entered into on a case-by-case basis and from there we can make sure that we both see eye to eye. CANCELLATIONS:
Cancellations made 8 weeks or more before your wedding will be refunded 50% of your deposit paid. Any cancellations post 8 weeks, the deposit is not refundable and the Booker agrees to pay to Abigail without offset or deduction a further 25% (total of 50% of the booking value) within 7 days from the date of cancellation. Cancellations with 48 hours or less notification the client agrees to pay 100% immediately to Abigail McEwan. Abigail will have turned away other work and unfortunately this loss of income will have to be covered – sorry no exceptions. TO MAKE A CANCELLATION:
If the cancellation notification is 72 hours or less, the only acceptable method of cancellation is via a telephone call/text to 0210433449. For 72 hours or more, an email is acceptable. RIGHTS RESERVED:
Abigail reserves the right to cancel any booking and provide email notification of doing so, if a booking is in breach of these terms. No booking is confirmed unless Abigail specifies so in her emails. ASSISTANTS:
Abigail has an amazing team behind her that are able to attend bookings alongside her or in place of her. All are fully trained with many years experience. In the odd case that Abigail is not able to attend your bridal party or event for any reason, one of her artists will then attend so you will have no need to worry. LAST NOTE:
Any artist working with/for Abigail, under any circumstances, are not responsible for any allergic reactions to products used. You are required to notify us and your stylist if you have particular hypersensitivity that you are aware of. Should you bring your own product that you are familiar with, the stylist would be happy to use the product for you.
