Today I refreshed a beautiful set of brows with an annual touch-up, and this photo is the perfect example of why regular maintenance is such an important part of cosmetic brow tattooing.

In one image, you can see the contrast between the original healed brow and the freshly refreshed brow.

Once tattooed The freshly tattooed brow will naturally appear richer and more defined immediately after treatment, with a touch of redness around the skin. This is completely normal and temporary. As the skin settles and heals, the colour will soften and the result will become beautifully natural once again.

An annual touch-up isn’t about starting again.
It’s about refining, refreshing and preserving the work we’ve created together maintaining the tone, shape and definition while allowing your brows to evolve naturally over time.

A beautifully designed brow can subtly lift the face, frame the eyes and create a sense of balance that makes such a difference often without anyone knowing exactly why you look so polished.

What to Expect When Getting Your Brows Tattooed

Getting your brows tattooed is a trust process. It’s important to understand that creating your brows is not something that happens in one single moment it’s a process we work through together.

Every set of brows is unique, and factors such as your natural brow shape, skin, previous work, colour retention and healing can all influence the final result. My goal is to create brows that suit you, while making sure we have realistic expectations around what can be achieved.

I’ll guide you through the shape, colour and technique before we begin, and we’ll take the time to make sure you feel comfortable and confident with the plan.

Trust the process, trust the healing, and trust that your brows will evolve as they settle. Sometimes what you see immediately after your appointment is not the finished result , your brows will soften and change as they heal.

Life has just been soooo hectic lately… clients, life, kids, animals, work… you name it!! So social media has definitely taken a back seat for a while.

Brows really are my absolute passion. My drive. My food for the soul. ❤️

Whether it’s semi-permanent or permanent brows, I genuinely LOVE what I do. I love creating, I love seeing the end result and most of all I love seeing how much a good set of brows can make someone feel.

I feel so
blessed to wake up every morning and actually be excited to go to work. And I’m honestly so overwhelmed by the kindness and support my clients have shown me this year. 🥹❤️

It’s such a buzz to truly feel good at what you do. To believe in what you do. And to know that no matter what, I’m going to keep giving it everything I’ve got. 💯

For the past 9–10 years, lashes and brows have been my signature. They have shaped not only my business but also who I am today. Through every set of lashes, every brow transformation, every conversation, laugh, tear, and friendship formed along the way, I have built something that I am incredibly proud of.

As my business has grown and evolved, so have I.

Stepping into new treatments, expanding my skills, and taking the time to truly reassess who I am, who I want to become, and what I want my business to represent has opened doors I never imagined possible.

Moving to Cromwell has been one of the greatest blessings for our family. The opportunities it has brought, the incredible people we have met, the success it has created for my husband's business, and the life we are building here have all played a part in this next chapter.

It hasn't always been easy.

There have been long nights, tears shed behind closed doors, moments of doubt, and countless hours of hard work. But with every challenge came growth, and with every opportunity came a chance to move one step closer to the dream.

When I restarted my business in Central Otago, I was starting from the very beginning again.

One client at a time.

Some weeks I welcomed one or two beautiful ladies through my doors.

Some weeks I had none.

But I never stopped believing in what I had to offer.

I knew the value of creating a space where women could feel beautiful, confident, cared for, and truly seen.

And that is where The Beauty Oasis was born.

To me, an oasis is a sanctuary. A place of comfort, calm, beauty, and connection. A place where you can leave the outside world behind, take a moment for yourself, and feel completely welcomed.

The Beauty Oasis is more than a business name.

It is a reflection of my heart.

A space built with passion, pride, kindness, and genuine care.

A place where I can welcome every single one of you with open arms.

Most importantly, it is a place where you matter.
