5 weeks is just too long for some clients. Especially the ones who need 3½ weekly services.

This sweet girl was booked in for the 6th week, and lucky I had a cancellation today.
Bringing her forward by a week.

So sorry ladies. Having those 2 weeks off from surgery is really hard on the service gaps, especially now I've gone back to part-time for a while.

Knot&Polish has some cool girls single braids. Easy to install and easy to remove. Reusable if looked after.

Braiding available. Currently not doing dreadlock installations or maintenance.

As I will be changing my hours for the next few months, I can only take one client a day until October.

Salon will still be opening at 10am and closing around 8pm, your appointment can be between 10am and 5pm.

2½ weeks post-op.
Services will be a bit slow my lovelies.
The pain is pretty well out there and as I owe you all a tonne of gratitude for your patience by pushing your appointments out, and only one client a day, I shall continue, may it be slow with my breaks to stand up, stretch and walk.

This client can now be pushed out to 4 weeks instead of 3 as lifting was minimal.

Well ladies. Tomorrow I'm back in the salon.

I will be on a saddle stool for posture.
Getting up every 15 minutes for a stretch and walk.

My specialist recommended 4 weeks off, but that doesn't pay the rent.

One client a day for the next 4 weeks.

Here are my nails after 2 weeks. I cut them all short before surgery. A munted thumb nail that will take another 6 or so weeks to grow out.

Patience is needed to grow out thrashed nails. Patience is need to grow to healthy reasonably good length for press-on nails or any other enhancements.

Don't forget my press-on nails will now be branded by Knot&Polish.

Matching colours for the locs. Why not an orange and black ombrè? Matchy matchy.
