For those of you who have said, Is Lightsaber dueling really a thing?

Its always cool to support the creative endeavours of people you actually know.
One of my amazing clients wrote a book, so I brought it.
This is Broken Homes by Jessica-Rose Weaver and it is going to be pushed up the tbr list, when I have time to pick up a book.

Do any of you do AudioBooks?
Ive been listening to books I have previously read while stitching and the author Im currently going through, is runningnout of material.
I'm looking for recommendations.
I do prefer fantasy, can do fantasy leading sci/fi. Don't mind young adult, new adult or just plain adult. And a series is not a problem either.
A good narrator is important, but if the story is engaging, Ive been known to push though one I don't like.
Looking forward to some recommendations My Beauties.
Oh, and the art tax of my latest section.

I procrastinated doing my nails way to long.
I should have taken a picture, because with the regrowth, I had no lifting or hair catching. I must be getting better at this lol.
Anyway, this set are inspired by the upcoming Lightsaber Tournament my daughter will be competing in at the end of the month. Left hand is Jedi, right is more Sith.
All colours from Modelones, except the pigment powders.

Day 3 of not stitching. Why? Ive got a flu.
Body aches, headache, cough, and nose. Its been horrid, not having any energy, blowing my nose every few minutes and coughing so hard I think I'm going to put something out.
I will be back on Tuesday, three days out (and then our weekend) and I have got to get back.
Ok, truth? I miss the coffee from Volare Bread & Other Baked Goods, it is far superior to the coffee at home. But I also miss my clients, so I will see you soon.
Here is the last picture I took of the cross stitch out of the frame, and where we are currently up to.

Went to the Food Show and Christmas market at Claudelands today.
Came home with a new handbag and book. Pretty typical.
The writer of said book was maning the booth amd signed it even. Guess I need to bump it up the tbr list lol.

Doesnt the universe have amazing timing?
So this is our week off, we shut the salon down and actually get a break. Its a great time to get appointments done for me. So yesterday I had a check up at the dentist.
My last wisdom tooth is still there, apparently the angle is ok, so lets leave it and keep an eye on it.
I need a clean, and we get that scheduled.
Then at dinner last night, I had a problem.
See, when I was 12, I biked to school and had a crash, breaking two teeth. One of these teeth is capped, I think. And that cap, fell off. Or broke off. Im not actually sure. But it means I have a funny smile. My denist can see me this avo and we'll put a plan together.
Cross your fingers for me... I don't think I can handle that smile.

I posted a picture on Unique Skin and Body this avo, where I was surprised at how much I looked like my brother. And while a lot of friends and some relatives have commented over the years, that we look related, I honestly can't say I have ever seen him in a photo of me.
But the skin texture and the hair line on the picture definitely looked like my brother, and not how I 'see' myself.
Has anyone else had a moment like that? Sharing the pic in question here for reference and a selfie that is definitely me.

Unexpected power issues mean its basically a day at home. Rearranged an appointment, so I don't have to go back out. Its a chance to catch up on some admin and maybe do some videos for next week. Meanwhile, my lamington from Volare Bread & Other Baked Goods makes the perfect morning tea.
Also, thank you to the team at Jingles Hair Design ( International Award Winning Salon) for moving my 4pm to a morning appointment,so I don't have to go out again.

What do I do when I'm not inserting a needle into hair follicles?
I'm inserting needle into my embroidery.
This is 2 years and 7 months work. I estimated 5 years for this project, so we'll have to see how that goes.
Finished project will be about 130cm x 100cm, give or take.
