Myth vs Fact: Shockwave Therapy Edition ⚡️🌊

Despite the name, shockwave therapy does not deliver an electrical shock. Instead, it uses targeted acoustic pressure waves to stimulate the treated tissue and support the healing process.

It may be used as part of treatment for certain persistent tendon and musculoskeletal conditions, alongside exercise and rehabilitation 💪
