COMMUNITY DAY FOR AMBER ❤️

As a team of three barbers at Fake Barber Studio, we wanted to do something to show our love and support for a local young girl, Amber, and her family following what she has been through.
Amber was viciously bullied and assaulted, we as a community can not tolerate bullying or harm against young people
We know there is a long road ahead for Amber, and while we can’t take away what has happened, we wanted to use what we do best to bring our community together and hopefully make things just a little bit easier for her and her family. ❤️
So on Monday 19 October, all three of our barbers will be opening the shop for a special Community Day for Amber.
💈 ALL CUTS WILL BE WALK-IN ONLY❤️ HAIRCUTS WILL BE BY DONATION💰 100% OF MONEY RAISED WILL GO DIRECTLY TO AMBER🤍 COMMUNITY DONATIONS ARE ALSO WELCOME — WHETHER YOU GET A CUT OR NOT

There will be no shop cut and nothing taken out. Every dollar raised throughout the day will go towards Amber, the money,donations will be used for - whether that's things Amber needs, something to make her smile, counselling/support, or simply whatever helps her along her journey.
We would absolutely love to see our Invercargill community come together and show Amber and her family how much support and love surrounds them. ❤️

It has been bought to our attention that there are rumours suggesting an OnlyFades barber was involved in the incident at last week’s U14 Rugby League Finals.

To clarify: no members of the OnlyFades Barbershop team were involved. Our entire staff were at work on that day. One of our trainees was present only to play in his U18 final.

OnlyFades Barbershop is committed to being a positive influence on our youth and our community. We do not condone the behaviour that occurred, nor do we have any association or relationship with the adults involved in the altercation.

Our focus will always be on uplifting our community, supporting our young people, and representing Southland with integrity.
