Some people believe they do not need superfood powders, vitamin and mineral supplements and believe they can get all the nutrition they need from their diet and fresh fruits and vegetables. Well... this is true. And I would never endorse any supplement as replacing a healthy diet and should always be taken alongside a healthy diet.
Having said this, a lot more energy, time and commitment is required to get the same variety and concentration of nutrition that is packed into a high-quality powdered supplement.
Powdered supplements are shelf stable, light weight, highly portable and do not require the same proper refrigerated storage. Fresh produce is prone to spoilage, which can lead to food waste if not consumed in time.
Fresh produce can be expensive, especially out of season fruits and vegetables. The upfront cost of a powdered supplement may seem higher, but they are actually more cost effective from a nutritional profile perspective in the long run.
Powders also offer a wider variety of superfoods in one scoop, like mixing greens, berries, vegetables, adaptogens, vitamins, minerals, seaweed, functional mushrooms and more... This is more difficult to achieve if only eating fresh fruits and vegetables. Especially for out of season produce.

We are excited to announce the launch of our new and improved Vital Superfoods formulation. We have gone from 24 unique ingredients to 44 unique ingredients. These ingredients are high quality, high strength and bioavailable for optimum benefits. We do not use any filler ingredients or cheap macro nutrient fillers ingredients like pea protein or the like. We have developed this formulation with optimum nutrition in mind and nothing else. The ingredients are expensive and for this reason we intentionally do not wholesale our products, so we can offer the highest quality nutrition possible at an affordable price. The price has increased a little to help cover some of the increased formulation costs. We have added more value than the price has increased.
