We’re so excited to have Monique join our salon. Originally from overseas, she’s been calling New Zealand home for the past three years and brings a passion for creating beautiful, confidence-boosting hair.
Monique loves all things colour—from stunning blondes and seamless root touch-ups to beautiful dimensional colour. She also enjoys creating gorgeous perms, as well as elegant wedding and special occasion styling.
She’s available Tuesday to Saturday, 9.00 am – 4.30 pm, with late appointments available by arrangement.

As a hair stylist, you're often much more than someone who cuts hair. You see people regularly—sometimes every few weeks—for years. You hear about their marriages, children, illnesses, holidays, dreams, and worries. For many people, their appointment is one of the few places where they feel truly listened to.
That creates a genuine relationship, even if it isn't a friendship outside the salon.
When a client dies, there's often no final appointment, no chance to thank them, and no opportunity to say goodbye. One day they're on your books, and the next, you hear they're gone. That lack of closure can make the grief feel complicated.
Hairdressers often become part of the fabric of people's lives. For some clients, you may have been the one constant person they saw every month. Your kindness, listening, and care mattered to them far more than you may ever know.
So here's to the farewells we never got to have, and to the hairdressers who keep doing what we do best.💓
