Clients often reach for unique & interesting words after a session to describe their experience. One told me she felt like a "mermaid spaceman."

It makes sense once you're in it. You're floated on your back in warm water, supported the whole time, moved slowly through the water in long fluid patterns. With nothing to hold and nothing to do, the mind goes somewhere else. People come out describing themselves as seaweed on a reef feeling the waves, or a jellyfish, or back in the womb. There's no wrong answer, it's just wherever the water takes you.

So I'm curious. Before you've even tried it, which one do you think you'd be?

Seaweed on a reef, a jellyfish, or floating in the womb? Tell me in the comments.

It's a couple of months off yet, but just committed to some wonderful continuing education. I'll be attending a water course - Healing Dance 2 in Tahiti - so exciting!

I have a friend visiting me from Harbin, Charity, and it has been so lovely to share, practice and get to receive Watsu®. Then another water friend, Nicola Kapala, & her mate, Steven, was travelling through NZ in late April and we all met up at deBrett's in Taupo for more sharing - so lovely to receive (especially underwater)! Thank you to Stella who joined us in the water in Taupo. Here's a few pics:

Has May seemed chillier this year? It’s taking a lot of energy to keep the pool warm, so I’ve turned off online bookings. I will be doing some sessions over winter either at Ocean Spa at low use times or possibly heat up the pool a few days a month. If you are in need or want of a session call me. Until then enjoy the autumn leaves & what winter brings.
