These results were achieved with dermal needling alone.
The main concern here was a build up of pigmentation which had previously been treated with laser and returned.
These results were achieved with 4 needling sessions over a period of 9 weeks and a supporting at home skin care regime.
Commitment and consistency is sometimes all it takes.

Sometimes filler isn’t about volume.
This lovely woman came to me concerned about the lines forming around her upper lip.
On assessment, it wasn’t simply about adding volume. She had a lack of structural support around the lip, which was allowing the skin to repeatedly fold and crease.
A small amount of filler was carefully placed into and just above the lip to provide subtle support and help reduce that repeated folding.
The goal wasn’t bigger lips — it was better support, smoother skin and a more balanced result.
Sometimes filler is about structure, not volume.

World Health Organization classifies tanning devices that emit UV radiation as Group 1 carcinogens—the same highest category of cancer-causing agents as to***co smoke and asbestos.
Please sign the petition, they need to be banned!
Commercial sunbeds expose people to high levels of UV radiation, which increase the risk of skin cancer.
Skin Cancer NZ supports a ban on the import, manufacture, sale and rental of commercial sunbeds in New Zealand. This is one of the recommendations in our Skin Cancer Prevention and Early Detection Strategy 2024–2028.
You can help. Sign the petition calling for a ban on commercial sunbeds in New Zealand.

One of the things I hear all the time is...
"People keep asking me if I'm angry." 😡
"Everyone thinks I look grumpy, but I don't feel grumpy!" 😠
Sometimes choosing to get muscle relaxant treatments is not about getting rid of wrinkles or trying to look younger. Sometimes it's simply about marrying how you feel on the side with what you're projecting to the world.
Over time, the muscles we use to frown or squint can start to leave us looking a little tired, worried, or cross, even when we're feeling happy and relaxed.
A few carefully placed injections can soften those stronger expressions without changing who you are. You'll still look like you... just a little more like the version you feel on the inside. 🥰
For me, the best results are the ones where people notice you look refreshed, but they can't quite put their finger on why. 👌

A little late to post, but I recently had the privilege of attending the Skin Cancer Summit in windy Wellington.
It was an inspiring few days of learning, networking, sharing ideas, and a little bit of fun along the way. Spending time with such a passionate, multidisciplinary group of health professionals reinforced just how important collaboration is in improving skin cancer outcomes.
I came away feeling more inspired than ever about the impact nurses can have in improving equity, access, and early detection within our communities. I’m looking forward to putting what I’ve learned into practice and continuing to advocate for accessible, high-quality skin cancer care.

*** A vulnerable post… ***
These are all photos of me 😳 The top two were taken around six years ago, and the bottom two are me now.
While we all naturally change over time, I truly believe one of the biggest differences has been consistently prioritising my skin health. My approach hasn’t been about chasing perfection or dramatically changing my appearance, it’s been about caring for my skin, supporting its health, and investing in it over time.
Consistent, quality skincare, regular skin-boosting treatments, and a little sprinkle of tox ☺️ have helped me maintain healthy, hydrated, glowing skin while still looking like me.
Skin health is a journey, and consistency really does make a difference. You don’t need to wait for the “perfect time” to start, small steps taken now can make a meaningful difference over the years.
There’s no time like the present to begin prioritising your skin health. If you’d like to chat about a personalised approach for your skin, I’d love to help 🥰
