Hi, im Kayla 🤍

Im the owner of Distinction Hair Design & The Extension Lounge.

Ive been hairdressing for over 20 years, and I genuinely still love what I do. I specalise in hair loss solutions, extensions and head spa wellness.

I've always believed hairdressing is about so much more than hair. Its about confidence and how we feel.
I love giving people a place to come and switch off for a while and feel looked after.

I love seeing my team grow and watching them build their confidence & skills. Seeing them succeed is up there with one of the best parts of owning a hair salon.

When im not at work you will usually find me spending time with my family, being a proud nana to my two beautiful granddaughters.

Hey im Kristy 🤍

Hairdressing has been my passion for over 20 years, and nothing is more rewarding than helping women feel beautiful, confident, and empowered.

I love creating complete transformations through colour and cutting, combining creativity with skill to give every client a look that suits them perfectly.
I also enjoy mastering new techniques, from hair extensions to classic blow waves and curly cuts.

One of the most fulfilling parts of my career is mentoring apprentices and helping the next generation of hairdressers reach their full potential.

I'm the Development Coordinator here at DHD helping everything behind the scenes run smoothly, so our team can focus on creating the best experience possible.

What i love most about this industry is being able to help people feel welcome, cared for and comfortable from the moment they walk through our doors. If I can make someone's visit a little easier and send them home with a smile, that's a pretty good day for me.

Outside of work, you'll usually find me spending time with family and friends, gaming or relaxing with my cats 🐈

Im naturally curious and always looking for new ideas and better ways to do things.

Marissa is our Salon Assistant and one of the friendly faces you will see around the salon.

She loves anything creative, and when shes not at the salon you can usually find her doing something artsy.
She especially enjoys colours and styling. One of her favorite things about our industry is helping clients leave feeling refreshed and cared for 🥰

Hi, I'm Sarah 💚

As an emerging stylist, I love learning new techniques, and how it feels when i can help make clients happy with their hair. My goal is to keep growing my skills with a dream of making customized wigs one day!

Outside of the salon, im a huge animal lover. I have one dog, three frogs, one axolotl and somehow the family keeps growing 😄 I also love a good statement peice, and quirky fashion.

Im loving everything im learning at DHD, im excited to keep growing my skills and can't wait to see where this journey takes me 💚
