And some colours somehow become yours. ❤️

♥️This lovely lady has now claimed her second polish as her colour and honestly, once you've found a red that makes you feel this good, I completely understand why.

A deep, sumptuous red #003 cat-eye with that beautiful magnetic shimmer that seems to glow differently every time the light moves across it and now, quite firmly, her second colour.

There was no need to compete with it. Instead, we let the red take centre stage, adding just a whisper of gold to a couple of feature nails. The gold softly fades from the cuticle into the shimmer beneath, creating a delicate reverse ombré that catches the light without taking anything away from the richness of the red.

It's a little bit regal, a little bit indulgent, and completely hers.

Because sometimes a colour isn't just a colour.

🌜This lovely lady chose the deepest midnight blue Thor me out, with just enough shimmer beneath the surface to reveal flashes of blue as the light catches it.

Then came Luna Glitz the moonlight silver foil polish, swept across the tips in a French design, creating that beautiful contrast between deep midnight and luminous silver.

🥀This lovely lady wears a delicate Dainty base kissed with Firefly shimmer, creating the prettiest veil of light across the nails. Tiny rose features add a touch of romance, appearing almost as though they've been scattered among the shimmer and caught in the evening glow.

It's soft without being overly sweet, feminine without being fussy, and has just enough sparkle to make the roses feel as though they've come alive when the light catches them.

Some colours don't simply catch your eye, they call you closer.

🌊 I wanted my own nails to feel a little like stepping beneath the surface, deep blues, shifting light, unexpected flashes of sparkle and textures that reveal themselves as the hands move.
Blue Opal Cat-Eye creates that mesmerising movement through the set, while Ocean Eyes glitter layered over the cat-eye on my thumb echoes the same blue beautifully rather than breaking the flow. Borrowed & Blue and Sizzling Sand add their own notes, with shadow stamped flourishes bringing a little movement and sugared details giving the set that tactile, almost sandy texture.
Several finishes, several little details, but all telling the same story.
And perhaps that's what I love most about creating my own nails, I can start with a colour and simply follow wherever the idea takes me. This one just happened to lead me straight into the deep blue. 🌊💙
