What's one way us public can swing the waste pendulum as much as big dirty corporate lobbying?💰💀🤔
Shopping at social enterprises like Raglan Refill! - who have a commitment to reducing plastic packaging at their core 🌳✊⚡️

Government shelves plans to ban hard-to-recycle plastic The Government has shelved plans to ban hard-to-recycle PVC and polystyrene from food and beverage packaging, and Zero Waste Aotearoa says big brands may be to blame.

Spring is nearly here, which means it’s almost time to drag out the cleaning gear 🌼🧹

But have you ever looked at your cleaning cupboard and wondered why there are eight different bottles basically doing the same job? 🤔

Meet washing soda crystals, the old school, one ingredient cleaning powerhouse we sell loose from our bulk bin.
Use it as ⬇️

✨ A laundry booster to soften water and help your detergent work harder
✨ A pre-wash soak for stained clothes, overalls and cloth nappies
✨ A whites brightener for greying and yellowing
✨ A simple fabric softener for crunchy towels
✨ A grease-fighting soak for burnt pots, rangehood filters and ovens

One ingredient. A whole bunch of jobs. No collection of plastic bottles taking over the cupboard.

And if washing soda is completely new to you, we’ve made little take home cards with all the different ways to use it so you don’t have to remember a thing. 💛

Refill it. Take the instructions home. Become suspiciously good at cleaning. Thank us later🫙♻️
