We've all been wrapped in mist lately, but the forest still knows how to put on a show!
While Rotorua is known for its spectacular geothermal landscapes, we find our forests hold a different kind of magic on days like this🌿✨

Where does our water come from?💧

One of the questions we get asked most is where the water in our hot tubs comes from.

The answer? A beautiful aquifer spring high in Whakarewarewa Forest 🌿

Unlike Rotorua's geothermal pools, Secret Spot Hot Tubs uses fresh forest spring water that's naturally clear and gentle on your skin, making it a great choice for those who prefer a fresh water soak.

Before it reaches your hot tub, the water is heated to a cosy 39.9 degrees. Every tub is then treated using our Enviroswim technology, with just 0.25ppm of chlorine (around half the chlorine level found in municipal drinking water!). This helps keep the water clean while remaining kind to both our guests and the environment 🌲💙

The Cinnabun Blondie has come to Secret Spot, and we're just a little obsessed 🤤✨
It's your favourite cinnamon scroll, disguised in a chewy, buttery blondie and topped with that sweet glossy glaze... best paired with a manuka-roasted latte and a Shinny Dip in our opinion!

The paths are clean, clear and beautifully maintained, making it even easier to access the forest🌿

A huge thank you to the Rotorua Trails Trust team for all the hard mahi that goes into keeping these trails in such fantastic condition. It's appreciated by locals, visitors, mountain bikers, walkers (and one very enthusiastic office dog!) 🐾
