My goal is to invest in and educate you on what’s best suited to your hair journey, while keeping your hair healthy, strong, and lush at every appointment.

Hi, I’m Mon the face behind JOI Hair Studio.

I built this business while raising four incredible daughters as a solo mum, It hasn’t always been easy, but every challenge has shaped the salon and the person I am today.

Fun fact… I sold my motocross bike to help fund the dream of opening my salon. It was a big sacrifice, but one I’ll never regret.

Behind the chair, I specialise in creating effortless, lived-in colour dimensional brunettes, soft brondes, and beautiful blondes that enhance your natural beauty. My goal is to create hair that grows out seamlessly while making you feel confident, refreshed, and completely yourself.

Bridal hair is one of my greatest passions. There's something incredibly rewarding about being part of one of life's biggest moments. I love creating timeless, elegant styles for my brides.

For me, it’s never just about the hair. It’s about creating an experience where you can relax, feel looked after, and leave feeling your absolute best.

When I’m not in the salon, you’ll usually find me spending time with my family, exploring the outdoors, chasing new adventures, or soaking up beautiful creation.
