A bittersweet update & big news! ✈️

To my wonderful clients,

I am writing this post with a mix of emotions to share some important personal news about the future of Protea Beauty.

As many of you know, I have been on maternity leave enjoying precious time with my two little ones. I had originally planned to be back in the treatment room this past August, but life has taken an unexpected and exciting new direction!

Earlier this year, my husband accepted a job in Western Australia, and after much planning, I officially joined him with the kids in August.

With the family now settled here in WA, Protea Beauty will unfortunately not be reopening.

Running Protea Beauty since 2022 has been an absolute joy. I am incredibly grateful for your loyalty, your support, and all the wonderful conversations and laughs we shared. Thank you for being the most amazing clients.

I will truly miss seeing all of you.

I am excited to announce that a new bundle of joy will be joining our little family in January 2025.

At this stage, I am looking at taking maternity leave in early January. A date will be confirmed closer to the time.

Do you feel like you never have time to go to your beauty treatment, because no one can look after your little one ?
Do you want to go to a beauty spa or salon, but don't feel comfortable taking your little one ?

Please feel free to bring your little one with to your appointment !
- I will set some toys suitable for their age or equipment (like a baby swinging chair) out to keep your little one occupied.
- Or if you are in need for a massage and your baby loves a carrier, I can put your baby in the carrier while doing your massage. (a 12pm appointment will be best for a massage as that is when my little girl has her nap)
- I also have a high chair available if it is snack time for those little ones who can feed themselves and who can sit unsupported in a high chair.
- Just add a note to your appointment when you book saying how old your little one is and if you require me to put the high chair in the room or carry your baby.

I am a mum to a 14 Month old, I know how life can get and that we don't do things for ourselves that often / we are restricted to do certain things like a beauty treatment due to having them by our side.

I want to create a comfortable/ safe environment for you and your little one so that you can enjoy a few minutes doing something for yourself !
