Hi everyone!

Apologies for the short notice — things have been a bit hectic lately — but I finally have an update on the house situation!

This coming week, Monday 6th October to Friday 10th October, will be our last week at the Brady Street house. After that, we'll be relocating to a new space on Wallace Terrace, Te Awamutu, with an estimated reopening date of October 20th.

With this move, I’ll be working only 2–3 days per week, so availability will be a little more limited than usual. Be sure to book in early!

I’m super excited for this next chapter and can’t wait to welcome you all to the new location!

My week from hell.
This week has been awful. Really that’s an understatement.
Monday began with a trip to the vets for Miss Mittens after vomiting upwards of 16 times for them to tell me she has a foreign body in her intestine. Hoping she’ll pass it herself I bring her home where she continues to have problems. They told me she has Pancreatitis and was on her was to dehydration due to not eating or drinking. Back to the vets on Tuesday. They decide to operate to remove whatever is sitting in her bowel and intestine however while they’re doing the surgery she turns blue and loses consciousness. She essentially vomited while under anestesia and it went into her lungs causing respiratory pneumonia. Once she was out of the operating room she was placed into an oxygen tent to help support her lungs. She spent Wednesday and Thursday night at the after hours vet for her to be monitored as her lungs were getting worse. To cut a longer story short, I received the phone call at 3:30am Friday morning that she had passed away. My fur baby was 8 months old.

And just like that, I’m back! 🤩
After an incredible two weeks away I’m back and ready for action.
