I will be closed from the 3rd September till the10th then back for my final 3 avaliable weeks im still here till November 1st which are all booked at this stage (i do have a waitlist available)

14 weeks to go... exciting and a little bit scary as this new full-time job comes with no experience.. haha

I can't believe I only have 14 weeks left before I head off on maternity leave! 💕 I'll be finishing up the week of the 26th of October, which means my appointment book is filling up very quickly.

I now have very limited appointments left before I finish. If you've been meaning to book in, please get in touch as soon as possible. 💇‍♀️

💕 If you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment, I'd really appreciate as much notice as possible, as I currently have a waitlist of lovely clients hoping to get in before I finish.

♡IMPORTANT BUSINESS ANNOUNCEMENT♡

After 16 years of working full time behind the chair… this girl is finally taking a few months off for a cute wee reason … 🤍 🤰

I wanted to give everyone plenty of notice that my maternity leave will officially start from labour weekend no pun intended hopefully lol. I’ll absolutely be back (with a tiny new salon mascot in tow 🍼), but I’ll be soaking up those first few months full time with my little bestie before returning to the salon part time.

As exciting as this season is, it’s also made me realise how quickly the rest of the year is going to fly by! For some of you, between now and October that may only be 1–2 appointments left 😳

To make sure I can fit in as many of you as possible:
🤍 I really encourage my non-regular / occasional clients to try get booked in before September. This way we can have you looking good before i go and I should be back by the time your due again!
🤍 October will be reserved for my regular ongoing clients to make sure I can look after everyone before leave.
🤍 I’ll still be doing my absolute best leading up to October, but I will be keeping the extra-long/big days to a minimum as the bump gets bigger and the energy levels get smaller 😂 so getting in the next 10-12 weeks while im feeling amazing is the way to go

I’m not trying to panic anyone at all — I just know how fast appointments disappear towards Christmas season even without adding a baby into the mix 🤭

Thank you all for the love, support and understanding already. I genuinely have the best clients and I’m so grateful I get to share this exciting chapter with you all 🤍

Meet Martika the Founder of Sana Skin Clinic, who will be working alongside the brilliant team at Nue Aesthetics in the Hilton Highway complex.

Born and raised in Timaru, she has recently returned home after more than a decade building her career in Australia as a Senior Dermal Therapist and Clinical Educator.

Her experience spans some of Australia’s leading aesthetics clinics, where she worked at an advanced clinical level treating a wide range of skin concerns including acne, scarring, pigmentation, and redness. As a Clinical Educator, she also trained and mentored therapists across more than 20 clinic locations, setting standards in treatment protocols, skin knowledge, and client care.

Now living rurally with her fiancé and two children, coming home has been a full circle moment, reconnecting with the community that shaped her.

Sana Skin Clinic reflects that journey. A space built on care, trust, and real results, where advanced dermal therapy meets a warm, personal approach.

Martika is passionate about helping people feel confident in their skin and is excited to bring a high level of experience back to Timaru.
