The last few days in the salon have been very full-on, but for all the right reasons. It's been lovely to see all of your beautiful smiling faces! Today the Salon of Mum opened for a short time ... early closure came due to the 13 year old apparently knowing more than the beauty therapist completing her treatment 🙄

First day back in the salon for 2021 today - or so it should have been ... Unfortunately I lost power at 4:30am this morning and it wasn't reconnected until near 4pm 🤦‍♀️ The universe was telling me I needed one more day off obviously 😉

I have to give Alpine Energy and NETcon a big shout out for their work ethic today. I called Alipne Energy first thing and within minutes a technician from NETcon was here. The issue was not a straight forward one, and it took a few hours for the technicians to even find the fault, let alone fix it. Today is actually considered a public holiday, so these technicians were technically on call, and yet multiple guys turned up and kept working together to sort the problem for me. Thanks guys, you saved the day!

Thanks to my very understanding clients who happily rescheduled their appointments. Let's try again tomorrow!

I love living where I do, and I'm very saddened to find out that one of my fellow Pukatea Street residents has had their letterbox stolen. This isn't just any letterbox, it's a full sized R2D2 robot (Star Wars).

Sadly, at some stage last night this was taken from its Pukatea street site, even though it was securely bolted down. Who would do this?

If anyone hears anything about this, or sees it somewhere, please do get in touch. This was created by the home owner and his Son so it also has sentimental value.
