I never thought I’d be writing something like this, because asking for help is something I’ve always found incredibly difficult. But I’m at a stage in my life where, honestly, I’ve had no choice but to reach out and ask for a little help. ❤️

The past few months have brought some really unexpected and difficult changes, and I’m doing my best to navigate everything one day at a time while trying to rebuild my life and get back on my feet.

- It’s not always easy putting the more personal side of things out there, but the kindness I’ve received has reminded me just how lucky I am to have such wonderful people in my corner.

▫️ — I’ve been MIA ▫️

- Hey everyone!! 🖤 I hope you’re all doing well.

- I just wanted to give you guys a bit of an update, as many of you may have noticed I’ve been a little MIA from the salon at times lately. So, I thought it was probably time I jumped on here and explained a little bit of what’s been going on.

- Earlier this year, I was diagnosed with an autoimmune condition which has had a pretty significant impact on my day-to-day health. I’m currently working through it with my doctors and specialists, but unfortunately it’s not something that can simply be fixed and it’s something I’ll have to learn to live with long-term.

- That’s been a really difficult thing to get my head around, especially because the biggest challenge has been the unpredictability of it all. One day I can feel completely fine, and the next I can be struggling just to get out of bed and to get through the day. I’ve also had quite a lot happening in my personal life, which hasn’t exactly helped things either.

- I still try my absolute best to turn up, put on a smile, be my bright and cheerful self and give you guys the best hair I possibly can — and I’ll continue to do that as best I can. 🖤

- I also want to say a really heartfelt sorry to anyone I’ve let down, mucked around or inconvenienced along the way. I know cancellations and changes can be frustrating, and I genuinely appreciate your patience and understanding while I navigate all of this.

- Your love, kindness and ongoing support honestly mean more to me than you probably realise. I wouldn’t be where I am, or have the business I have, without you guys. 🥹🖤

- If you’ve made it this far — thank you for reading my novel! 😂 I’ve put this post off for a while because, honestly, it’s not the easiest thing to talk about. But I felt like I owed you all a little transparency about what’s been going on behind the scenes. With all that said - I’m not having the best week this week, so please bear with me while I try navigate this week.

- So… that’s my little life update.
I’m taking things one day at a time, doing the best I can, and very much appreciating all of you along the way.
