Sasha is the most recent married at Falls Retreat last week. The white dots in her lashes are just the glue yet to dry - such a beautiful face! I’ll be buying more of this long-lasting lip colour! It’s an absolute winner!!

I love colour! But I’ll also get excited if you just want all-neutral makeup. It’s ok! My style does not have to be your style. A good makeup artist can detect (through conversation and clues) and adapt to the style preferences and comfort of a client.

Waihou! Near Te Aroha in Waikato is where I am today, for video shoot makeup/hair for a Totalspan New Zealand TVC (tv commercial). I’ve met some rare Wiltshire sheep and a friendly dog called Dot, and her owner of course, who is the one on camera today. Stoked to be a small part of promoting a kiwi-owned business!

Some brides don’t want add false lashes, saying they already have naturally long lashes. But here’s the thing: it’s also for volume that we add fake lashes. Here’s a photo from a bridal makeup trial-run (before the day), showing false lash ‘flares’/clusters on one eye only. Contrary to expectation, the flare lashes makes the makeup look more natural and ‘in place’, than over the top.
