✨A little update for 2026 ✨

As we head into a new year, I’ve made a few small changes behind the scenes to help support the way I work, one of those being an update to my salon booking policy

As a sole operator, my workdays are carefully structured with back-to-back appointments.

When appointments are cancelled or rescheduled at short notice, that time can’t be refilled, which means lost income for me.

The updated policy is simply there to protect my time and ensure fairness for my small business, while continuing to provide the best possible service for you all.

Thank you so much for your understanding and continued support, it truly means more than you know 🫶🏼

What a year it’s been 😅

This year brought its fair share of challenges, from surgery (an appendix and ovarian cysts), to break-ins, winter sickness and juggling life with sick little ones. It truly was a rollercoaster at times.

Through it all, the kindness, understanding and support from you all has meant more to me than I can put into words 🥰

Thank you for your patience when appointments needed to be moved, for your messages of support, and for continuing to show up and support my little business 🙏

I am so incredibly grateful for each and every one of you who has stuck with me this year.

With calf-rearing behind us and summer sports in full swing, our salon hours are getting a little sunshine makeover:

Wed: 1–8 pm (Now our Late-night!)
Thurs: 11–5 pm
Fri: 9–5 pm
Sat: By appointment only

I’ve decided to play netball for our local club this winter - The Goannas haha yep, dusting off the sneakers! 😅😂

It’s such a great community of women and kids, but like many local clubs, we’re running a bit low on funds – especially for uniforms and team gear.

To help out, we’ve put together a Mother’s Day Pamper Hamper Raffle full of luxe goodies (valued over $600!) and we’re hoping to raise enough to get everyone properly kitted out for the season. Tickets are just $10 each and all funds go straight back into the club.

Freckles Beauty Spot will be closed from Thursday, Feb 20th – Wednesday, Feb 26th.
