I blinked and it’s been a month since Kate joined Flesh and Bone! And this Aussie native is fitting in pretty darn well if you ask me.

New patient bookings have been through the roof! Thank you all for booking in and trying someone new. I know you can feel loyal to “your practitioner” whether that’s your Osteo, physio or chiro. So hopefully reading a little more about Kate will help you get to know her before you meet in person!

Kate loves helping people move with greater confidence and get back to the activities that matter to them.

Her personal connection to headaches and migraines, neurological conditions and hypermobility has shaped her thoughtful, individual approach to care. She takes the time to listen, understand what’s going on and work alongside each person toward practical, achievable goals.

Kate also brings a strong grounding in Clinical Pilates, supporting clients with movement, strength and rehabilitation goals.

Outside the clinic, you’ll find her hiking, biking and exploring the outdoors, which is exactly what drew her here. She’s excited to join the Wānaka community and help people stay active and connected to what they love.

Whether you’re dealing with pain, managing an ongoing condition or simply want to move better, Kate would love to meet you.

Extended working hours and plenty of appointments available…for now.

Flesh and Bone Osteopathy | Book 02/07/2026

❤️‍🔥 We’re excited to welcome Kate O’Shea to the team at Flesh and Bone Osteopathy! ❤️‍🔥

Kate is a passionate Osteopath and clinical Pilates instructor who loves helping people move better, feel stronger, and get back to doing the things they love.

She has further training in clinical Pilates and a particular interest in headaches and neurological conditions, while also enjoying the treatment of a wide range of presentations including sports injuries, chronic pain, and general musculoskeletal issues.

Kate believes that understanding your body is just as important as treating it, and works alongside her patients to create personalised treatment plans that support long-term health and wellbeing.

We’re thrilled to have Kate join Flesh and Bone Osteo and know our patients will appreciate her caring, friendly approach.

📍 Now consulting at Flesh and Bone Osteopathy, Wānaka.

Join us in Wanaka—work where others come to play!
I’ll admit I’m biased, but this place truly feels like paradise.

Don’t let the chatter about cost of living put you off—plenty of people are thriving here and loving everything Wanaka has to offer.

Right now, with so few osteopaths in town, I’m busier than ever and ready to expand. Whether you’re seeking full-time or part-time work, fresh out of uni or highly experienced, I want to hear from you. What matters most is finding the right person, not just an osteo to fill a room.

Pay and benefits are negotiable.
