SaunaGus began in Scandinavia, where heat, steam and cold immersion have been passed through generations as both ritual and community.

Valdemar Kaufmann brings that tradition here. To the Southern Alps. To The Sauna Wānaka.

The session moves through carefully guided waves of heat, aromatic steam, essential oils, breathwork and cold immersion. Each round builds. The room shifts. So do you.

This is not something widely experienced in New Zealand, which is exactly what makes it worth experiencing.
